As a part of our partnership, we’ll host a few very well known bbq stars for meet and greet events, as well as to demo some of their favorite recipes live for our guests. You won’t want to miss some of the best in BBQ sharing some of their best smokin’ secrets.

 

Tony Ramirez

TFTI BBQ

Meet Tony Ramirez , also known as TFTI BBQ (Thanks For The Invite) He is a father of 2 raised in Northern California who has been backyard barbecuing for over 10 years.

He taught himself how to BBQ by watching reruns of BBQ Pit Master. Tony’s mother's background is Cajun French from Louisiana, and his father is Filipino, infusing both of his parents' backgrounds into his recipes.

He made a name for himself by posting his Filipino and Cajun infused BBQ on social media. And in only 2 years has racked up a following of almost 2 Million.

Matt Groark

Groark Boys BBQ

Matt Groark of Medford Lakes — aka TheMeatTeacher — is a physical education and health teacher who launched his own barbeque business, Groark Boys BBQ in 2018.

Married to his wife Kristin and a Father of 2 boys Aidric (8) and Nash (7) he boasts 3.3 million followers on TikTok, 650,000 on YouTube, and 128,000 on Instagram. The teacher-turned-top-tier-cook is quickly making a name for himself as he recently competed on Season 2 of Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef!

Groark was undoubtedly ready for the challenge — his TikTok includes all types of cooking and barbeque tips, as well as other musings involving his family and daily life along with some day-to-day teacher tidbits!

Carlos Bradley

Smoke & Vine

Carlos Bradley, known by many on TikTok as SmokeAndVine, has spent over a decade perfecting his craft as an obsessed foodie, BBQ enthusiast, vinophile, filmmaker and CEO of Embers TV.

Some of Carlos’ earliest memories surrounding food are those of his father BBQing Tri Tip on the Weber Kettle. Which is most likely where his love for BBQ and cooking began. In the beginning of the recent pandemic, at the urging of his wife, Carlos begin posting BBQ videos on TikTok and soon viral following and engagement.

Since starting his TikTok, Carlos’ videos have received millions of views, he’s launched a Rub company with several friends, he’s partnered brands he’s admired for years, he’s continually asked to cook for private BBQ events and pop-ups, and just recently he launched Embers TV along side some of the best BBQ creators in the game.

 

Jeremy Yoder

Mad Scientist BBQ

A former Chemistry teacher with a passion for barbecue, Jeremy Yoder left teaching to devote his time to educating the public on how to cook meat with fire. Yoder started a barbecue catering business while still teaching full time in Los Angeles. Eventually his love for barbecue superseded his love of being a schoolteacher.

Today, Jeremy lives in his home state of Kentucky where he actively runs his own catering business along with his YouTube channel which serves to combine his passions for teaching and barbecue. The science of great barbecue, the chemistry of bark formation, the physics of fire management, and the biology of raising animals now form the subjects that Yoder teaches on his Mad Scientist BBQ social media channels.

Based in California’s Central Valley, Marco is surrounded by an abundance of high-quality local ingredients, which you’ll often find being used in his recipes. When he’s not smoking meats or creating at the stovetop, you can find him patronizing everything from the local taco shops and markets to popular southern-style barbecue joints that have been here for decades.

A US Army Veteran, Marco proudly served his country and community from afar. Being honorably discharged has become a fixture of the community as a film director and producer covering everything from state water issues to working for local non-profits and startups.
